Bluffs Landing Senior Village is a great place to live in Northeast Round Rock, about 20 minutes to Austin. Most residents are 55+. It’s a fairly small complex offering many special events, friendly people, community center with movie theater, library, arts and crafts room, business center and workout facility. The management and maintenance staff are very responsive and professional. I’m on the ground floor, near the pool. I must have a non-smoking roommate and preferably no pets. Roommate may be under 46 but would need to qualify as a live-in aide. If qualified, rent reduction is possible dependent upon agreed terms and responsibilities.

I’m the only person living here. It’s a 2 bedroom 2 bath, and I use the hall bedroom and bath, so I rent out the primary bedroom, which has an ensuite bath and walk-in closet. I’m single, 73, and a Christian. In addition to rent, roommate pays 1/2 the electric (estimate $70 or less) each month. Roommate has full use of kitchen, common living areas, and laundry facilities are just down the hall. The room is spacious and partially furnished but can be emptied.
