I’m looking for a roommate to join my lease on 14th and Bloomfield in Hoboken. The apartment is available now and looking for a candidate that would be ready to sign a new lease that starts June 1, 2019 with an option to renew after that. My former roommate has moved out after relocating for a new job upstate.

The apartment has a shared common room (furnished with couch, chairs, dining table) and kitchen.

It’s a 15-minute bus ride to midtown with a bus stop right at the corner and a 40-minute bus or PATH ride to downtown. You’re also a 5-minute walk away from the ferry which can get you downtown in 10 minutes. We’re on the 5th floor (top floor) with an elevator and have washer/dryer in the basement. This is a quiet location with just a short walk to many bars/restaurants in the area.

Costs for the room: Rent: $1225/month Security Deposit: Landlord requires a security deposit equal to the monthly rent (we would split this in half). Application Fee: $50 Electric: $20-$50/month Cable+internet: $80/month

No smoking or pets.

I’m in my mid-20s, typical guy that likes sports, down to get a beer and go out, and gets along well with others. I work at a nearby university, so during the academic year, my hours can be somewhat atypical (typically working one if not both days on weekends). I’m by no means an OCD person when it comes to cleanliness, but if you respect the common spaces, we won’t have any issues. Looking for a guy with similar attributes that is definitely going to stay at least through the end of the lease, if not longer.
