I’m looking to rent a second bedroom in my spacious 4-bedroom, 3,000sq ft condo. The condo is located in the safe neighborhood of New Berlin and has close access to I-43. The room (12x13) is fully furnished and includes a full size bed, walk-in closet, bench seat, 65“ wall-mounted tv, Apple Mac Mini computer, 2 large dressers, glass work desk, multiple storage containers and a lighted ceiling fan. Room also has plenty of storage to meet all your needs as well. All utilities are included such as AC/Heat, electricity, water, and even Wi-Fi. Driveway parking for a single vehicle is included along with free use of the washer & dryer. A large bathroom with walk-in shower is included.

Their are several restaurants close by, a health center, movie theater, hospital, and some shopping locations, all within walking distance. Downtown Milwaukee or Waukesha are a short 20 minute drive and other communities such as Brookfield, Elm Grove, Hales Corners, Muskego, and West Allis are even closer.

I’m a 60-year old widower, and I work from home M-F, 7am-4pm doing IT Engineering work for a major healthcare company. For the most part, I live a quiet life. I don’t smoke, party, or drink and recreational drugs will not be permitted. I do currently have a professional female roommate staying in one of the bedrooms. She also works first-shift outside of the home and has been here several years already . For her ongoing safety and security, I’m only interested in another female roommate at this time.

I have an energetic, 15-lb, Jack-Chi dog who loves everyone. (He is pictured in one of the bedroom pictures) I try to keep him out of the bedrooms, but he likes to be close to people. My dog does get along with cats, but my Home Owners Association has strict rules against additional dogs.

Ideally, I’m looking for a roommate that can be somewhat social. I have family in the area and spend time with them, but my job tends to be socially isolating. It would be nice to converse once in a while and maybe become friends. I tend to be a homebody, even when not working, but I do occasionally travel for work and sometimes spend a few months down south at my other home. I’m not a great cook, but have 2 fully stocked kitchens if you enjoy cooking. I’m a clean person overall, and it would be nice to find a roommate who likes a clean place as well.

It is really important for me to find someone who can openly communicate since establishing trust is important in this kind of living situation. Age is not important as long as you are responsible and honest. (We previously had a 20+ year old female Flight Attendant stay with us who we are still are close friends with).
