Area: We are close to Mills College and Merritt College. Bus stops are close by and BART is 2.5 miles down the road. We are close to hiking in the Redwoods, close to the Zoo and Lake Chabot. Lake Merrit is only a 10 minutes drive away. 580 is only minutes away. Safe neighborhood. We also have a security system.

Rent includes: unfurnished bedroom, water, house cleaning, garbage, PG&E, laundry, security system and wifi. If it works out with our schedules, you might be able to use our third parking spot.

About our home: We have a nice big house with a yard where you’re welcome to hang out. The bathroom is shared part of the time and has a shower and tub. There is storage for a bike and the like in our side yard [uncovered].

Pets: A cat or small dog are welcome. However, they should stay in the room.

Ideal housemate: We’re hoping to find someone who is reliable, responsible, respectful, quiet, mindful and kind. It is very important to us that you keep your and our areas clean and are pro-active about doing your part in the home. We enjoy being around people who are easy going. This is for 1 person.

We are a family of six: Brian[38], Nicole[39], Noah[8], Freyja the cat, Ninja and Goose the dogs. The cat and dogs are separated in the home so another cat is welcome. We are a dynamic household with early hours and busy lives. We enjoy being out and about on weekends… most of the time we are hiking, running and doing yoga. Nicole works from home a couple days per week. Noah, a very quiet boy, is with us every other week. Brian is great at fixing things around the house.
