About the room
There is one furnished bedroom available for SUBLET from June 12th- mid September (dates are flexible). I am very open to a generous prorate on the rent for the whole summer, so reach out with an offer of how much youβd be willing to pay and we can discuss it. The room will come with a bed, empty dressers, a desk/desk chair. It is the largest room in the house, located upstairs with windows (and curtains) on both sides of the room. The house has the old Corvallis charm in a really cute neighborhood. Our neighbors are wonderful and plant tons of gorgeous flowers, and we have a small patch of soil on our yard if you would like to add more of your own plants. When we want to spend time outside we have a nice big carport and grassy front yard with a covered porch. We also have a fenced in βbackyardβ that is more like a small alley, where you can safely store bikes, ect. We have a basement for gatherings, an upstairs living room with a TV, a kitchen with many cupboards and fridge/freezer, and a second fridge/freezer in our laundry room where we also of course have a washer and a dryer. The house is a close walk to the OSU campus (~15min) and Avery park (~10min), and Safeway(~7 minutes) and downtown Corvallis shopping strip (~10 minutes). There is 4 parking spots meaning only one person needs to park on the street at a time, and we have our school/work schedules written on the wall to make sure that no one gets blocked in. There is a parking lot across the street that does not tow if you cannot find street parking. Utilities vary in cost between $80(ish)to $130(ish) depending on the season and usage. If you have further questions or would like more pictures of the rooms please reach out!
About the roomies
The 4 people that will still be living here are all female college aged between 21-26, some OSU, LBCC and some full-time work, and would prefer another college aged woman. There is currently one mini Papillon dog and we would like to avoid adding new dogs to the house, but you can still reach out if you have any type of pet besides a dog and we might make an exception if the pet gets along with the current dog and roommates, but please no untrained or loud animals. This dog belongs to the roommate moving out July 1st. Everyone is active, sociable, outdoorsy and open to new experiences. Currently, we are kind of set in a routine with chore charts and assigned laundry days, and a calendar to initial when you do the dishes. However, the remaining roommates are flexible and open to different ideas, we are open with communication with each other, and we have a house group chat that helps with communication given our very different schedules.
