Hey! I have a private room available in my home in San Antonio for $850 a month, and all utilities are included, so you wouldn’t have to worry about setting anything up separately.
The house is about 15 to 20 minutes from Fort Sam Houston and Randolph AFB, and around 30 minutes from Lackland. You’d have your own bedroom and share a full bathroom with one other room.
It’s a pretty relaxed home and a good fit for someone who likes having their own space. There’s no pressure to socialize all the time, so you can come home, unwind, and do your own thing. You’d also have access to the kitchen, living room, washer and dryer, fenced backyard, and garage parking.
I’m active-duty Air Force and manage the home myself locally, so I try to keep everything simple and comfortable for the people living here. It’s also pet-friendly depending on the pet. 😊
A little about the current roommates:
I’m Alysa! I’m 27, active-duty Air Force, and I also run a photography business. I enjoy photography, decorating, plants, animals, and making the house feel cozy and welcoming. I’ll be moving into my new home nearby around September, so I won’t be a long-term roommate, but I’ll still be local and managing the home.
Victor is 47 and enjoys reading and mariachi music. He’s respectful, easygoing, and mostly keeps to himself.
Overall, the home has a relaxed atmosphere. We value cleanliness, good communication, personal space, and making sure everyone feels comfortable. There’s no pressure to socialize, but everyone is still friendly and respectful. :)
