I am looking for a like-minded roommate to share a clean, quiet home with a peaceful and respectful environment. Furnished or unfurnished options available with same price.

The first level is 1,100 sq. ft., bright and newly renovated, with a private entrance, full kitchen (stove, oven, dishwasher, and proper ventilation), in-unit laundry, two bedrooms, and a spacious living room with a fireplace. Unlike many basement rentals that feel limited or partial, you’ll have a nice balance of privacy while still being part of a comfortable shared home.

Additionally, there is a porch, driveway, EV car charging station, and a spacious backyard to enjoy.

The location is excellent; walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and recreation center, conveniently located in Falls Church near the Mosaic District, with quick access to U.S. Route 50 (2–3 minutes) and Interstate 495 (about 5 minutes). The closest Metro station is approximately 2.5 miles away, and Washington, D.C. is about 20 minutes by car (traffic permitting).

This home is perfect for someone who genuinely appreciates nature, a quiet, clean, and comfortable home and values a positive and considerate living environment. It’s important that the household feels balanced and harmonious for everyone sharing the space, so care is taken to find a good fit rather than simply filling the room.

• Roommate option (available in August): $1,350/month for one bedroom with shared spaces (kitchen, bathroom, living room (these would be shared between two people/roommates) and laundry room (the two roommates and the landlord sharing).
• Full private unit (this option currently not available): $2,850/month for the entire lower level

I am the homeowner and have a private space with a kitchen and a bathroom on the second floor of the house. I will be using the laundry room on the first level. I’m an artist and a quiet, respectful person who loves nature and animals. I also have a long time professional background in IT. I have a very friendly senior dog.
