Piedmont Mesa Road

Hello! We are only interviewing females at this time. No pets. And, no couples please.

Super swanky 5,000 sq. ft. mid century ranch house with a hilltop view. The available room has one closet and one built-in desk nook. Fully furnished, including SMART tv and new mattress. Recently painted and carpeted. Huge open plan living room, over-sized swimming pool with a view. Jacuzzi just installed and outdoor built-in barbecue just finished. Full house privileges, including entertaining (save the big pool party for after the virus, please). Internet and a generous streaming package included.

One of the nicest things about the property is its size - very large and spread out. Plenty of room for privacy, and places to curl up with a book. We aren’t on top of each other…. but it’s friendly enough that we hang out when we want. Note: there IS an ongoing barbecue contest and will-he-eat-any-vegetables (no, ketchup does NOT count) challenge!

I do have outside dogs, including a stunning Alaskan husky with a beautiful wolfie look. All are super friendly and crate trained when you don’t want them under foot.

Please note we are still COVID cautious - but starting to relax. We ARE fully vaccinated and boosted, and will ask you to do the same plus your safety practices. If we gel and you move in, you can have a friend over to swim but no big parties right now.

We are also looking for a roomie who loves the home and takes responsibility for the house with the rest of us - we aren’t the local resort hotel. There’s no “staff.” Take out the trash, sweep/mop, dust, wipe out the frig and such yourself about 1/3 of the time. We have a good division of labor; no freeloaders please.

I’m a special education teacher who sells vintage clothing on Ebay as a sideline, a musical theater nerd who also listens to rap/folk/alternative rock, thrift store addict, and lover of anything sci fi/fantasy/horror.

The roomie on my (our) side is clean, friendly, rarely home, and works with children on the autism spectrum. She is a Registered Behavioral Technician.

The roomie on the north side is a middle school theater teacher. Super fun and energetic! He has his own wing - bathroom/laundry/den. Beware of costume projects (I helped costume his last show!) and dress-up readings of A Christmas Carol in the floor-to-ceiling windows, airy living room.
