About the room

One room available. Another in April. The house was built in 2020, is decorated in a clean, modern style, and is near Mueller, 15 minutes to downtown. The rents include utilities, shared toiletries, and regular cleaning of the shared spaces.

About the roomies

My husband and I own the property, but our good friend, Trent (in the pictures), lives on-site and is our property manager.
We have worked really hard to get great guys in each room who get along with everyone in the house. I’ve asked the last two guys who moved out to provide a review. Here is what they sent me:

“I’ve been living at this amazing house in Austin, Texas, since August, and it’s been an incredible experience. The landlords, Bradford and Sorcha, have created a modern, spacious, and fully furnished home with everything you could need, from pots and pans to Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and plenty of storage. The outdoor space, complete with a hammock, grill, and patio, is fantastic for relaxing or socializing. Bradford, Sorcha, and Trent, the on-site manager who has now become a close friend, have made living here stress-free and welcoming. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to downtown, the Domain, and Mueller. The only reason I’m leaving is to go out of state for work; otherwise, I’d stay in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great living environment in Austin!”

“Where to even begin? This is, by far, the best place I’ve ever rented. The house is full of amazing guys who genuinely support each other, and the vibe is unbeatable. The Property Manager, Trent, is hands-down one of the best dudes I’ve ever met—I didn’t even know someone could be that welcoming and positive. Plus, the man has some wild stories (ask him about his lore). Pro tip: Don’t be alarmed if you walk downstairs and catch him sharpening a machete in the backyard—it’s just a Trent thing. And the memories? Unreal. Nights out with the guys, two-stepping and just living it up, are moments I’ll never forget. Everyone here is driven and goal-focused, which makes the whole dynamic even better. If you’re looking for a great place to live with a solid group of guys, look no further—you’ve found it. (And no, I wasn’t paid to write this… I swear.)”

Here’s a little write-up from Trent:

A little about me: I work as a dog trainer and enjoy getting a morning workout in a few times a week. I’m an extrovert and a morning person, and I like to keep a clean and tidy house. My highest values are truth and a willingness to peacefully and cooperatively solve problems. In my free time, I love hiking, hunting, fishing, blacksmithing, leatherworking, woodworking, and spending time at the karaoke bar. Sharing a nice meal with friends and sitting out on the patio with a cigar and a bourbon are some of my favorite ways to unwind. I consider myself philosophical and scholarly with a deep interest in evolutionary psychology. It’s one of the reasons I recently became a dog trainer, or as I like to say, a Canine Behavioral Specialist.

In addition to my work as a dog trainer, I’m also a wilderness survival instructor. I teach practical skills like the use of knives & axes, shelter-building, fire-starting, foraging, water purification, and navigation. If you’re into outdoor adventures or just want to learn how to survive in the wild, I offer classes throughout the year. As a tenant, you’ll get the family and friends discount on any of my instruction. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, I tailor classes to fit all skill levels.

I’m looking for friendly and easygoing roommates who can enjoy a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. It’s important that you’re respectful and keep the common areas tidy. If we share interests, that’s a big plus. Most importantly, because conflicts are inevitable, the ability to peacefully and cooperatively resolve conflicts is crucial.
