About the room

Looking for a roommate around my age (20s), to live with me and my two cats in a 3 bed - 2 and 1/2 bath home (Cats are super sweet and friendly and I hate fur everywhere so I clean daily). The room for rent has great windows and a walk in closet. There is laundry in home and 2 car garage with room for storage. Home common areas (kitchen, dining room, living room and spare bedroom) are already furnished, so you don’t have to worry about buying a couch (lol). Always open to adding things around the house and new decorations though! Property has a small, private side-yard, and front patio/yard area. Community features multiple parks, green belts, and heated pool/spa. Walking distance to Ottawa University, Fry’s grocery, multiple fast-food locations like Chipotle and Starbucks, Surprise Stadium, Surprise Park/Fishing Lake, shopping, dinning and a movie theater. 2 Miles to the Prasada shopping center and 303 freeway, Costco, Trader Joe’s, entertainment, restaurants and tons of shopping! 15 minutes from the 101 freeway.

Rent is $900 per month, but all utilities are included in rent. Looking for someone willing to sign a lease for at least 6-12 months.

Preferably would like the cats to be the only animals in the home as they are older and set in their ways, but small animals may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Only looking for 1 roommate, so room and bathroom will be private and 1 garage space is guaranteed!

About the roomies

Just me! I’m a young professional who just moved out and realized I don’t enjoy living alone and I have extra rooms available for a potential friend/roomie.

I have a full time WFH job, so I spend a chunk of my days at home, but try to get out often and visit friends and family to make up for the lack of social interaction during the day. But when I am home, I’ve tried to make it as cozy as possible because I love hanging out at home with a candle and a blanket watching movies or crafting. I’m in my sourdough era, so if you like bread, this is the place for you lol
