About the House:
Short answer? It’s awesome. Fully renovated modern rowhome. Bright, large, and airy. Large living spaces and modern kitchen on the ground floor. If you have more furniture - No problem! We have tons of extra space for your belongings. Two outdoor spaces including a back yard patio with a nice grill set up for cooking and entertaining. We are equidistant between two metro stations - Columbia Heights and Woodley Park - each is about a 10min walk. This is the perfect location to live as a young professional in DC.
About the Room:
The bedroom ($1100) is large, has its own massive walk-in closet with built-in shelves that can also double as space for a desk, gets excellent sunlight and has hardwood floors. It’s on the upper floor and shares a bathroom with two other roommates. The room is the size of a typical master bedroom - but without the price tag.
We are fine with male or female - most importantly, we appreciate the need to maintain this house as awesome as it is; we hope you will too.
About You Clean, responsible and able to pay rent on time.
Please also be friendly and sociable. We are not looking for a recluse. We are looking for a good roommate; one who can do what they want in their own room, but maintains clean common areas (i.e., living room, basement, etc.). The kitchen is top of the line so we all take turns doing dishes and try not to let things pile in the sink.
