About the room
Location, Location, Location: Our home is located at the crossroads of The Denver Boulder Turnpike (US Route 36), The Foothills Parkway (CO-157), and Table Mesa Drive (South Boulder Road). This makes for fast and convenient access to Downtown Boulder, Longmont, Denver and everything in between. We are also a two-minute walk from the South Boulder Main Bus Terminal, which not only offers service to all of the previously mentioned destinations, additionally Denver International Airport for the frequent traveler.
Common Areas: Plenty of room in our 3000+ square foot, 4 bedroom, 3 bath, two-story house with finished basement. We have 20โ vaulted cathedral ceilings with large sunny windows in the living room that connect to an open kitchen and back patio. We have; a high recovery gas water heater + an additional electric hot water storage tank that never runs out of hot water, other amenities like a 60โ LED smart HDTV, SONOS Wi-Fi network home sound system, Full size front-loading Maytag Washer and Dryer, GE Monogram Gold Series Range/Microwave, Dishwasher, and a huge 48โ Sub Zero Refrigerator as well as other assorted kitchen appliances for everyoneโs use.
Your room and HOA Amenities: The room for rent is the NW facing Master Suite on the second floor, fully furnished at no extra cost. This room comes complete with a queen bed, double dresser, and desk. This room has its own double sided walk-in closet and private ensuite bathroom with shower, large bathtub, and separate WC. The room has five windows including a large picture window for you to enjoy plenty of natural light and Flatiron views. As a resident of our home, in addition to our front and back patios, you will have access to the community pool, park, and tennis courts.
Fine Print: Utilities are split equally between roommates regardless of use or occupancy. These include Century Link (High speed Internet), City of Boulder Utilities (Water), Xcel Energy (Gas and Electric), Western Disposal (Garbage Removal), and a small HOA fee that covers the pool, tennis courts, and snow removal in the winter. We currently average $120-$150/person/month depending on responsible tenant use and outside temperatures.
The first monthโs rent, and security deposit equal to one monthโs rent, are due upon the agreed move-in date. If you would like to split up this payment or secure the availability of the room for a future move-in date, the security deposit can be put down ahead of time to hold the room. The security deposit is obviously non-refundable if renter backs out of the agreed upon move-in date.
About the roomies
-Two 30 y/o male working professionals -Not looking to have a late night party atmosphere. However, hosting the occasional dinner party or cooking together with the roommates is enjoyed.
