Hiiiii! I’ve had to make some edits to the original post as things have changed. I have rooms for rent in one home in the Elmwood village for a September 1st move in.
I have 2 rooms available in my current residence. I’m actually looking for 2 people to come and take over the lease for September 1st. The landlords are looking for someone to sign the lease and it would be approximately $250 per room. We’re looking for a security deposit so it would be $500 for one room upfront (this payment is for the first month and security deposit), or about $1000 upfront (this payment is for the first month and security deposit for both rooms). I think my current ideal is to have one person in each room so that the bills are very, very manageable. If you are interested and available, the evenings this week after Wednesday are generally a good time for a tour. There are people contacting us about this great space, so please reach out if you are interested.
If you’d like both rooms just for you, that’s also fine!
There is one person in the first room who may or may not be staying (he did not sign the lease yet). He’s also looking for a new job so if you have recommendations that would be great! He is an empathic person who is very interested in spirituality and having someone to meditate with, experience energy healing with or talk about games and technology. He just wants to exist without judgement.
This is a really great space and at a really really great affordable price. You are right near Elmwood and a walk away from great restaurants, parks, bars, and everything else you need for a great fulfilling living experience.
As long as you’re decent, can reliably pay the bills, mostly quiet, and can have some conversation here and there they will be open to you living in the house :-). No pets are allowed in either house as I understand it.

House #2, the less renovated and simpler home has 1 person who intends to be here already when people come to take the other two rooms. This current person is kind but firm, inquisitive, mostly introverted and really into crystals and spiritual practices. It is very important to me that when you come to live with him that you’re all able to synergize. I want everyone to be comfortable together, pay bills and live together gracefully. Generally, the person that will be here already is someone who won’t invade your privacy or demand too much attention.
