About the room: Partially furnished bedroom in a 2-bedroom apartment. There is a mattress, box spring, and bed frame in the room, one folding chair, as well as clothes hangers in the closet. Room is 10ft x16ft, and has a walk in closet. Room has one window which looks into a small patch of grass behind another home. The room is adjacent to the apartment bathroom and the garage. The wifi router for the apartment is located in the back corner of the bedroom. This room has been unoccupied since January 2024.

The official lease date starts on 8/1, but since the room is currently unoccupied move in could occur sooner.

I am unsure what the security deposit will be; what is listed is the original security deposit from when I first moved in in 2022.

About the apartment: The rest of the apartment is already fully furnished. I am currently occupying the other bedroom, and am living alone. There is a shared kitchen, living room, bathroom, and garage. The kitchen has an electric stove, an oven, shelving, and a dishwasher. The living room has a couch, tv, and two storage desks/shelves. The garage contains an in-unit washer and dryer and storage shelves. The bathroom has a shower and tub, toilet, sink, and mirror with medicine cabinet. Pets are allowed, and I currently do not have any critters.

About the neighborhood: Quiet, safe residential neighborhood directly adjacent to a commercial corridors. Very close (<5 min walk) to three bus lines, easy access to bikeways, close to multiple grocery stores (Fred Meyer <1 mile, Walmart <2 miles, Winco <3 miles), multiple nearby local restaurants and a coffee shop, and close to convenience stores and other businesses. Very close to CDHY and Harney Elementary School. Within walking distance of Fort Vancouver.

About me: I would be your only roommate in this apartment. I am a 26 y/o graduate student at PSU, and I am employed part time and work remotely, often from home. I am very energetic and active, and when I commute I am usually gone for the full day (8 to14 hours). I try my best to be tidy and organized. I often wake up early (5:00am to 7:00am), but I don’t really do much in the morning to make noise. I have a car, but I mostly commute by bike and public transit.

I am friendly, adventurous, and easy going, but my busy schedule sadly doesn’t give me much time for socializing at the moment. I love being outside, especially hiking, biking, camping, backpacking, and trail running. I also have a Switch and enjoy playing video games to relax. I like cooking and baking when I have the time, and I also like to listen to music and draw.

I am trans and queer, so any/all queer folks are more than welcome. I am neurodivergent; I have tried to set the space up as well as I can to meet my sensory needs, and I prefer direct, clear communication. I am on the path to being sober; I am fine with cannabis use, though the property is technically non-smoking, and I am also fine if you drink, but I ask that you do not store alcohol in communal spaces.
