About the room
This house has a whole lot to offer and we’re excited to find the right person to join us!
Your Living Space: We’re offering the possibility of one room for $800 but we’re giving preference to anyone who will do both rooms for $1400. You’ll get two rooms, each with its own small closet, and a bathroom equipped with a bathtub and a bidet (!!!) These rooms were previously used a bedroom and an office space
Transportation There is both street parking and a tandem driveway available. We’re also within walking distance to the Hyattsville Crossing Metro Station (Green and Yellow Lines) and the Mall at Prince George’s Rent and Utilities Rent is $1400/mo. Utilities are split three ways, including central air and heat, and high speed internet Shared Common Areas
There’s plenty of common areas, perfect for spreading out or even entertaining! Our front parlor has two recliners, a couch, and a chaise lounge, plus a TV hooked up to all your favorite streaming services (Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and Starz) and a projection screen that connects to any device via HMDI
Our sunroom has two glider armchairs with matching ottomans
There’s a huge community room with a bay window, dining area, and a lounge area by the fireplace – perfect for dinner parties or game nights – which make our house the largest on the block! Our covered back deck has even more room for entertaining and the best seats in the house: a sturdy rocking chair and large wicker armchair
And of course, a fully stocked kitchen for all your culinary needs Washer and dryer are located in the basement
We’re just a short 5-minute walk to the Hyattsville Crossing Metro Station (Green and Yellow Lines) and the Mall at Prince George’s, plus there are grocery stores (Giant, Safeway, Target), a movie theater, and a handful of restaurants super close by! There are also beautiful nature trails nearby in our safe and friendly neighborhood.
About the roomies
I’m an an easygoing (I hope) professional videographer and Vincent is a friendly opera singer and professional musician. We host a board game night every week, but other than that, don’t really party much and are a queer-friendly, pet-free, non-smoking house.
