Studio apartment in the basement of a single-family home in Ridgefield, CT (Ridgebury neighborhood). With a separate entrance from main house and its own kitchenette and bathroom, this apartment is less “shared” than most on this app. Currently comes furnished with a couch, TV, full bed, table and chair - but we’re happy to remove anything if future tenants want to furnish themselves. Access to shared washer/dryer with my boyfriend and I on the top floor, and designated parking spot. Also access to fenced in backyard (including grill and smoker) if you come with a pet or like to cook. Cats and dogs welcome, additional $50 per month per pet.

House is located in a beautiful neighborhood, low-traffic with tons of lakes that make for pretty walks/runs. Also walking distance from Bennetts Farm State Park. Convenient to Ridgefield (5 mins) and Danbury (15 mins).

I bought this house in November of 2023, so my boyfriend Joe and I are still getting settled in and making the house our own! I work in philanthropy and attend grad school over the weekends. Joe is a teacher who loves cooking/food and watching sports. We have two dogs - George, a 5yo mutt who’s scared of the world, and Janet, a 2.5yo Pyrenees mix who’s literally never been afraid of anything/anyone in her entire life.
