This is a room for rent in a ~1300sqft home built in 1955. Purchased the property in ’21 and have made significant renovations to the property, both externally and internally, including:

• Newly installed irrigation system
• Refinished original hard wood floors
• New appliances (AC/Heater, gas range, refrigerator, water heater, etc.)
• New energy efficient windows

This house is in the neighborhood of Carlisle and Candelaria - centrally located but technically in the northeast heights, near Bel Air Elementary. Not far from much of anything in ABQ really, takes me roughly 8-10 minutes by car to UNM for example.

Asking 700/month, utilities included, plus 300 as a security deposit.

About me - I’m 35, cis male, a musician (drums). I am very much a creative/introverted/reserved person, but I play in a band and have weekly rehearsals at the house, which is understandably not for everyone. I have decently high standards for cleanliness and hygiene generally speaking and expect the house to be kept neat/cleaned regularly (I already do a lot of this, as much as I can). I have a BA in Political Science/Communication from UNM and have an orange tabby who is exceptionally friendly.
