About the room
Room rental in shared housing. Rent includes utilities and access to amenities such as laundry facilities and home gym. House includes myself, my cats, and maybe a couple of other roommates in a co-ed environment.
You should:
- have regular sufficient income (at least the standard 3x rent)
- be a hard worker with goals (no bums or couch potatoes)
- not be a crook or criminal (no crazy people either)
- not be an illegal drug user (if it shows up on a drug test, it’s probably illegal)
- be a cat-lover or at least okay with them (i’ve got plenty for the house)
- have reliable transportation (some kind of vehicle from moped to car or willing to walk the 15 min to the bus stop; no uber/lyft dependent)
- be willing and able to follow household rules and pay rent on time (a few days late is not on time)
Other:
- LGBTQ and minority friendly (open to all races and sexual identities and preferences)
- Alternative lifestyles considered (as long as it’s legal and doesn’t interfere with others)
If this is you, then this geeky guru would like to hear from you. If you’re honest, friendly, and clean up after yourself, even better.
Leases are in 3 month groups and rent rate is calculated as roommate’s portion of total household expense, for 1 person, and includes basic utilities and wifi internet. Contact me for discount options and shared room rates for additional occupants. $400 or $250-900 security deposit depending on risk. Prefer no dogs or creepy crawly pets.
After bringing roommates in for the past few years, I’ve found that the average stay is around 6-9 months so rooms may open up periodically throughout the year.
About the roomies
Currently, there are 2 of us in the house; 1 male, 1 female and I have another room open.
I’m looking for future roomies and new friends with similar interests who could potentially fill rooms as they come open.
If this may be something you’re interested in, please tell me more about yourself and your situation in your response.
