Elodie's room

Located in a quiet neighborhood right across from canton market place! Room is an entire basement area (one large room), half of a garage used for storage if needed, full bathroom upstairs and powder room on main floor that we all share. Parking is in the driveway.

Easily accessible kitchen located just at the top of the basement stairs. Private access to basement through garage side door.

There is 1 cat and 1 dog (occasionally 2) so we request no pets. Possibly open to 1 cat if they stay in the basement. Open for discussion. Monthly rent is slightly negotiable, and includes utilities.

Roomies are me and my boyfriend, Jake. My name Elodie (like Melody with the M). I work most week days from 8am-6pm with some days off. Jake works M-F from as early as 5am-5pm sometimes. I’m a veterinary technician and he is an HVAC technician.

We have a cat named goosebumps who can be a typical black cat but will like you when she warms up. We have 1 full time dog, Eloise. A 19 y/o chihuahua. She doesn’t bark ever (only squeaks when the cat bullies her:(. ) and is a very sweet girl in her old age. She also has no teeth and spends 90% of her time in her pen sleeping by choice. She probably won’t even notice you and you’ll rarely notice her unless she gets up for the occasional sniff run. Sabre is a 12y/o husky who occasionally stays with us when Jake’s brother is on deployment. He also never barks except for when he plays with Jake or tells us he needs to go out. He LOVES being outside and spends 80% of his time out there under the shady porch. At night and when we are gone he and Eloise are both in their pens (or Sabre outside) so they won’t be in your way. We are cannabis friendly and do partake ourselves. We spend most of our time in the main living room/ game room and can sometimes get loud but can and WILL keep it down if it’ll disturb.

We personally don’t care what you choose to do in your room, paint the walls, change the lights, whatever. but we do ask it stays clean. Doesn’t have to be “tidy” per se but respectful cleaning up after ourselves is expected. We live in a slightly wooded part of the neighborhood so roaches and bugs can come around if it kept up with especially in the kitchen. And since we have animals we do keep it clean upstairs to keep smell and pet grossness down.

Whatever else we gotta go over we can discuss more if it seems like a good fit!
