The room you will be renting is on the second floor of the townhome overlooking the front of the home with a private bathroom. Included in the monthly rent is access to a second-floor guest room and first floor home gym and communal areas, all utilities included, home security system, on-site laundry, bike storage, snow removal, monthly landscaping, street parking, and online rent payment. The room can come furnished or unfurnished (price remains same for unfurnished due to the cost of storing unused furnishings). Some walking distance amenities include a Mayo Clinic shuttle lot and city bus stop, three parks (Slatterly, Mayo, and Homestead), galleries and restaurants, Mayo Civic Center, Rochester Public Music venue, Rochester Art Center, public library, an access point to the city’s paved trail system along Bear Creek, the local farmer’s market, and a natural food grocery store. The townhome is 1.0 mile to the Mayo Hilton building, 1.2 miles to the Mayo Gonda building, 1.4 miles to the Mayo Clinic Methodist campus and 1.9 miles to the St. Mary’s campus.

I am relocating to Rochester mid-June of 2024 to begin work at Mayo Clinic as a Registered Nurse, and I am looking for a housemate to rent one of the rooms in the townhome I am purchasing. I am an introverted, neurodivergent, middle-aged, food- and outdoors-loving, life-long learner with a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd named Cordelia Joon. I live an active and clean-eating lifestyle and prefer a peaceful, clean, and tidy home environment. I live by the values of fairness, open-mindedness, honest and timely communication, and respect for personal boundaries and property.
