Clarice's room

My home is located in Midtown Phoenix. As a point of reference, it is 0.6 miles from St Joseph’s Hospital.

I have two rooms available for rent within a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom remodeled Historic District house. Both bedrooms offer a queen sized bed, nightstands, blackout curtains and the floors are hardwood. There are recessed lights on a dimmer.

The first room I am offering is a furnished private 1 bedroom with an on-suite private bathroom. This bedroom offers a connected bathroom and a very large closet with shelves. There is not much space in the room other than the bed. It currently has a small cabinet with drawers. Maybe a small desk could be added instead of the cabinet. It offers a 6’ sliding door with a screen to access the back yard. The attached bathroom has a shower over tub, a sink with cabinet and mirrored medicine cabinet. There’s a small window over the toilet.

The other room offers its own bathroom but accessed through a 3’ hallway. This room has a little more space in it. The bathroom has a shower (no tub), a sink with cabinet and a toilet. This bedroom has 3 windows. One faces North towards the street, one faces East towards the front door and driveway and the third window faces West and is behind the fence to the backyard. This room has plenty of space for chairs, a desk, or a small couch. However, it has a small closet (4’ wide). I can change out the furniture in the room to meet your needs.

The entire inside of the house has been renovated with dual pane windows, hardwood floors, central heat and air. The kitchen has a Viking oven/stove, a microwave, refrigerator, pantry, pots and pans, high speed internet. The house also has a washer and dryer. The back yard is fully fenced. It has about 300 sq ft of covered shaded patio with a table with chairs, about 600 sq ft of turf, some planters and a fire pit.

The location of the house is in a Historic District and is convenient to access downtown, hospitals, and many entertainment venues. The neighborhood is safe and has walking/biking lanes on the streets. The community gathers on Wednesday evenings for local food trucks in the neighborhood. There are plenty of other food locations to walk to nearby as well as the light rail.

I occupy the third room. I am currently a fourth year medical student and not in the house all that often. I have a very friendly cat (but the cat splits its time between my house and my mom’s house in Los Angeles, so it can easily not be present during your stay if you’d prefer).
