Come home to this cozy sanctuary - a fully furnished guest suite in family home in the fun, walkable Riverbend neighborhood, just down the street from the river levee. Typical not-fancy older house. Suite has living room, bedroom (full size, can be switched to queen at tenant cost), small kitchen and bathroom. Ductless mini split heats and cools the entire unit. Own washer dryer. Kitchen gets has lots of afternoon sunlight. Picnic table in back, along with a modest container garden to pick a bit of fresh mint and munch on it. The guest suite has its own entrance and the yard is shared. Connecting door between units is blocked off and there are no shared interior spaces. The landlord lives on the other side of this converted shotgun, and the suite is at the rear of the main house. Finishing up repairs, will update listing when it is available to view. No pets, no smokers or vapers.

A small family lives on the other side, including a teen. The landlord co-parents and various family drop by. I (the landlord) work from home, goal oriented, generally quiet yet busy and socialize outside the house. Prior tenants have been respectful students, professionals on short term contracts, local people newly moved back to New Orleans who want extra time while searching for the right long term place, etc. Could be open to a longer term such as spring/fall for those with excellent references.
