It’s a decent room for a full-size bed! (please note that the bed in the picture is a QUEEN size). Overall it is a 2 bedroom apartment in a 3-story residential building with a private backyard for us. There are two friendly families on the 2nd and 3rd floor, rarely see them! (But if you WFH you might notice them more?) Dishwasher and all stainless steel appliances. The bathroom is just the right size and the living room has the door that leads to the backyard. Located on the 1st floor, and has a buzzer to let people in from inside apt. A 6-7 minute walk to the train station, access to the 7 line which runs every 2 minutes during rush hour or LIRR! The area is very safe and popular for families and has a lot of great food options nearby like Mexican, Irish, Colombian, Thai, Chinese. Laundromats are around the corner within 1 minute of walking and a corner bodega/deli.
It would only be with me. I am a 24-year-old female working in Sales Operations, I am in the office 5 days a week so only home after 6pm. I am fairly active (try to work out about 3-4 days a week) I LOVE cooking and cleaning. I pick up after myself (and often some more) and hope you will too! Weekly cleaning is ideal for shared spaces like the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. I like to host on occasions (about 4-5x a year, or less) for events that we can BOTH have family and friends participate such as 4th of July, Friendsgiving, birthday celebrations. I visit my parents every other weekend on Long Island so the apartment is typically yours for a lot of the time. I am very-simple and like to keep to myself a lot, would love to have a friendship with my roommate but we don’t need to speak every moment we are both at home! Let’s get along and make/keep our home safe, clean & cozy. :)
