Katherine Grace-Shamburek's room

We have a fantastic three-bedroom house in Orchard Mesa and are looking for a third roommate to fill the spot of someone who is moving out! This is a pet-free, non-smoking home leased from a wonderful private landlord.

There is off-street parking for 3+ vehicles as well as a carport, a quiet fenced backyard and open front yard, a patio with a grill, and a washer and dryer. Utilities (trash, wifi, and electric) are split three ways, and rarely exceed $75 per person. The common areas of the house are furnished, but we certainly have room for you to add your own touch!

The kitchen is recently renovated with an electric range, oven, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as a brand new fridge. There are three generous cabinets which will be yours for your personal storage of food and kitchen supplies, as well as shared space for plates/cups/utensils. The bathroom, which is also recently renovated, has a tub and shower. The bathroom will be shared with one roommate. Half of the under-sink storage as well as half of the bathroom cabinet storage will be for you!

The house has gas heat and a swamp cooler, and an excellent hot water heater (we have never run out of hot water, even when multiple people are showering at once). All windows were replaced within the past year. There is a shed that provides additional storage space.

The current roomies are Katie (28, and the one writing this :) and Alyssa (mid-20s). We both work in the arts and childhood education, and love taking hikes in the wilderness areas around GJ, visiting hot springs, decorating the house for holidays, and drinking wine. I also like crafting, gardening, and anything related to coffee. We are generally quiet, clean people, though we do enjoy hosting a small BBQ or brunch for friends a few times a year.
