It’s a D3 (4bd/4ba) unit at Douglas Heights. I’m looking to re-let my bedroom (Aug 1st, 2024 - July 31st, 2024). I have the largest bedroom (B). It has a private bathroom with large, deep cabinets and a combo shower/tub. The closet is pretty spacious too, and it has a large window on the back wall. The unit has in-unit washer + dryer, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and balcony. Internet is provided by the building. Rent is $689/mo, utilities range from $60-$80, trash is $10, and there are multiple parking options at varying prices (garage, outside lot, UTC lot, etc.). Leasing is by the bed so your roommates will have different leases than you. My unit is on the 4th floor and is a corner unit. You’d be right on the outskirts of campus. I would walk ~5 minutes to the bus stop on University and 8th and take the Mocs Express up cardiac hill to wherever my classes were. Super easy, was always at class in 15-20 minutes. It’s quicker to drive but I didn’t have a parking pass and honestly didn’t see the need due to being so close.
*I have videos of my initial walk-through if you’d like to see the specific unit. For now I just have the floor plan listed alongside this listing. If you decide to tour the complex, I believe the showroom is the same layout as my unit.
**The current lease rate for a D3 unit is also $689/mo. They increase the rates frequently starting around mid-April to account for the influx of students signing leases. My rate is already locked in and will NOT increase if you sign on with me. The total fees for moving in were around $300 (including the security deposit) if I remember correctly. I am also asking for an extra $350 to cover half of the re-letting fee. I’m looking to move out sometime in July, but if you would like to move in earlier let me know and we can discuss our options :)
None of my roommates are renewing their lease, and you would be taking over my lease. We would not be living together. The property manager will either place you with 3 other people or you can request your roommate to be placed in the same unit if you both apply and get approved (I did this with one of my current roommates).
