Amanda's room

One room in a 2 bedroom, one bath, townhouse style apartment in a 4-plex building. Bedrooms and bathroom are on the second level. Room for rent is on the SE corner of the building and lets in great light and air. It’s unfurnished, 110 sq. ft with a good sized closet. The house has central heating, but no AC so you might need a solo unit in the summer. The heat works great in winter and the room/house stays well regulated. This is a fully furnished apartment except the room for rent, because of that, there’s not really space for more furniture or appliances in the rest of the house - just what you’ll need in the bedroom.

Good neighbors and a nice unfenced yard space that we share amongst the 4 units in this building. We’re less than a block away from public transit (bus), and about a 10 min walk from the closest max station. There are a few bars and food carts about 4 blocks away. We’re close to the golf course, Rose City Park and in the other direction Normandale Park and Mt. Tabor. Within a 15 min walk/ 5 min drive to multiple grocery stores and getting on I-84 if you commute.

My name is Amanda (she/her), I’m a grad student / working person (3-4 days a week away from the house). I’m very independent and am looking for a roommate who is similarly so. Around the house I tend to do my own thing and can be more introverted or just focused on school or a book/show/video game whatever. I definitely have my party nights, but they happen at other friends’ houses or bars, etc and I don’t bring it back here. Looking for someone on the same page with that. 420 (but not in the house) and LGBTQ+ friendly.
