Myrtle Avenue

The room is carpeted with a private bathroom and a closet. The property is a house that has three bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and living room. It comes unfurnished. There is a front yard and a back yard that we are required to maintain. There is a shed in the backyard and a carport. The house is in the garden district which is quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is a safe, family neighborhood (no wild, drunk undergraduates and no loud parties) and 2 miles from campus. It is near both the city bus stop and the LSU bus stops and also along a biking/walking path that goes all the way to LSU campus.

Marz: I’m a 3rd year astrophysics graduate student at LSU. I am 24 years old and nonbinary. I work from home often, but I’m a quiet soul. I might have friends over every month or two and my long distance partner visits every 2-4 months for about a week, but they’re a friendly person and get along with everybody. I have a cat who is pretty shy, but friendly. She usually just stays in my room all day. I really value a quiet environment and roommates who will help with chores around the house. I also need a roommate who is supportive of LGBT people, or preferably queer as well.

Lucy: 23 year old LSU graduate who works most days. She has friends over from time to time, but they’re not too loud. She is quiet and keeps to herself.
