About the room
We have a furnished room available in a safe and quiet neighborhood one mile from Newark’s Main Street and the University of Delaware campus.
The room has its own bathroom across the hall. All utilities and fast Wifi are included in the rent, as well laundry and kitchen use. The room is clean & comfortable with a double/full-size bed, Smart TV, small fridge, central air & ceiling fan.
Perfect for a full-time working professional or a UD student who prefers a clean & quiet place away from the party scene.
We are happy to pro-rate the room for someone who only needs partial weeks (for example: someone who works in Newark and only needs a room M-F).
**IMPORTANT: Must like cats! We rescue and foster Persian cats. (The cats will not go into your room if the door is kept closed.) Unfortunately, we can’t accept any additional pets at this time.
About the roomies
We are an easy-going left-leaning couple who are usually busy working or traveling. Our home has a layout that works well to give everyone space and privacy, and we have enjoyed renting rooms for several years to UD students and guests from all over the world.
