Looking for a roommate (female-identifying / queer mid-20s to mid-30s preferred!) to join my lease renewal in a high-rise in Downtown Brooklyn!
About the apartment:
- 2 bed, 1 bath
- In-unit washer/dryer (!!!)
- Full-sized kitchen appliances with dishwasher
- Central AC / heat
- Lots of natural light + floor-to-ceiling windows in each room
- Building has a gym, indoor lounge, rooftop lounge with no amenity fee + 24-hour doorman. Mail is always secure!
The bedroom is large enough to fit a queen-sized bed and a desk, with some additional space for an open closet (already includes one closet).
The apartment is located 5-10 min walking distance from 12 subway lines (subway access is seriously unbeatable) and is across the street from Target, Trader Joe’s, and Dekalb Market Hall.
Subway Lines: Hoyt St Station (2, 3), Nevins St (2, 3, 4, 5), Dekalb Av (B, Q, R), Jay St MetroTech (A, C, F, R), and Hoyt Schermerhorn (A, C, G).
Rent is $2,280, 12-month lease with 1st month’s rent and security deposit (equivalent to one month’s rent) due upon signing. Need to sign by May 15!
About the roomies
I am a 27 y/o woman, moved to NYC one year ago from San Francisco and seriously love this apartment & location! I work from home most days but sometimes travel for work (usually 1x a month for a few days). Like to keep the apartment clean and really think of my home as a safe space, so I am mindful about the energy and people I bring home. I love hosting occasional dinner / game nights and may have (rarely) weekend guests from out-of-town, but I don’t bring the party home and would love to have like-minded roommate!
