About the room

Offering the Master bedroom in my apartment to a Full Time male college student, non-smoking & COVID vaccinated. I would imagine an 18-23 y/o; on a path with a plan for graduating “with distinction.” (At least this would be the plan… ) This is a temporary arrangement that will likely lapse in 6 months, a year or more, pending graduation. Apologies, but I’m only open to students and will respond to those who meet my requirements. If you are considering San Francisco, this gay-friendly place is near the Civic Center-Cathedral Hill Area, located a few steps away from stops crossing O’Farrel St and Van Ness Ave. Bus service is frequent with multiple connections to major routes, such as local Muni towards CCSF or SFSU & quick access to almost anywhere in the city and beyond via BART. Well located, fairly safe, with streets well-lit, walking distance to the cleaners, coffee shops, fast food places & restaurants. A few blocks away from the Van Ness Hospital, Banks / ATM’s and next to the Ex AMC, Future CGV/4DX/IMAX (Cinema), markets & stores Features: A moderate size furnished master bedroom (see pic. WYSIWYG), high window, offering a good amount of light. A moderate size walk-in closet, cable/satellite outlet; the room has a computer desk with a hutch and/or regular table, bed, bed linen, night table, and a small bookshelf . Approximate Commuting times, using public transit: From 54 min - 1 hr 17 min towards Sproul Hall in Berkeley. From 38 - 48 min towards SFSU. From 32 - 44 min towards CCSF. From 18 - 24 min towards the University of San Francisco. AAU? - last resident student walked there. I am staying in what was the living room. There is a small foyer & shared bathroom; it also includes a small but full kitchen; a section of top shelves serve as an open pantry; in addition to a small dining area (its use is required) . This apartment building also has a small laundry area. The security deposit is: $1000. Utilities are included {light, Direct TV, phone, internet.} Preferred Roommate: I’m seeking single, responsible, and ideally full-time students who want at least a semester stay in a furnished room. Only looking for full time university/college students , CCSF International & all students who are non-smoking; striving to sparkle and who do not mind living with someone a little older. Ideally, you would have a good credit score: +/- 600 points via a current credit report or would need to show reliable support. F1 International students can provide proof of financial support from a sponsor and a copy of a valid I-20 document. Character references would be nice. No overnight guests; no smoking, no heavy drinking, or drugs. You must be COVID 19 vaccinated. If interested, I request: • A Roommate Agreement by semester. • No pets, • Bring no additional furniture, • Make an effort to communicate fluidly without judgment, • No parties, no smoking, no drinking, and no drugs. • Be studious & financially responsible. Agree to & help with the weekly / daily cleaning. • No overnight guests. Apologies again, but I am mostly open to beginning students and will respond to those who meet the above requirements. Showings: Contact me to set up an appointment on weekdays: evening time and weekends anytime. Sorry, no Facebook nor Instagram. Thank you!

About the roomies

I am Hispanic with an international background and a student at heart, quiet, low key, and friendly. I enjoy sharing my time when able. I like meditation and sources of erudition. Open to those who are vaccinated, looking to give a chance to young, respectful, full-time students who are studious, responsible & dedicated to their studies. I appreciate exchanging ideas and building bridges to better understanding, openness, a good sense of humor, and fresh perspectives. I prefer to keep the home free from stress and mostly want it to be a place to Focus or Recharge in Rest and Relaxation.
