I am renting out the full basement in my cabin home, located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The basement has it’s own private half-bath and is finished, with a fridge and kitchenette area. There is also a good size storage closet. The shower and tub upstairs in the main bathroom are shared. Washer & dryer are in the basement bathroom and we would have to coordinate two times a month so I can do my laundry. The property is quite peaceful with ten acres to explore, a fire pit, patio and plenty of opportunity for outdoor adventures and time in nature. The wifi works wonderfully, despite being remote and is included with the rent.

Hi all! My name is Vicki - I have lived in the Upper Peninsula for almost four years now (originally from Chicago area). I own a cabin home is this remote area I am looking to share with the right person. I have a degree in accounting and am between jobs, but my past five years I have been working remotely, for the most part. I have three exotic birds, one being a rescued cockatoo. I love animals, but unfortunately I am looking for someone who either has birds/reptiles or is pet free due to the potential conflict with cats or dogs in the home with small birds. I also love nature and spend a lot of my free time outdoors when the weather permits. Some of my hobbies include video games, hiking, biking, photography, foraging and homesteading. I am a single female and generally a quiet person. I don’t have people over often or frequent parties, so I am looking for a roomie who is the same. This is perfect for a student with remote learning or someone who works remote.
