Looking for 55+ female housemate with a good sense of humor. The home is a nice one level home in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street just off of SR436 near the Altamonte Mall. The kitchen, livingroom and Florida room are all shared with me and my cat. The renter will have a private bedroom with a private full bathroom. The rental room is furnished with a bed, nightstand, light, smart TV (no cable but has digital antenna), and a dresser, and has a closet for hanging clothes. Can accommodate a renter that prefers an unfurnished room. The home has a large back yard, a large driveway, and a vacant space in the carport for a single vehicle. No smoking inside the house as I use oxygen, but smoking outside is acceptable. Since I have a cat, I can’t allow other cats or large dogs, but small dogs or other caged pets may be acceptable after discussion.

I am an 88 year old widower who is independent. I walk with a cane but I get around by myself just fine and I can cook my own meals. It’s just me and my cat Miss Kitty in this house and it gets a little too quiet sometimes. Miss Kitty is a bit of a scaredy cat and prefers to be an only cat. I spend my days either in the living room reading, playing on my iPad, and watching TV, or taking a nap in my bedroom. I am set in my ways, but would love to have someone to share the house for company so it is not so quiet.
