The duplex is a short walk from downtown OP and the farmers market. The neighbors on the other side of the duplex are very friendly.

The rent would be $500 a month, no utilities included, but those would be split 50/50 just like the rent. It is a two bedroom with one bathroom, 956 sq feet.

There is a washer and dryer downstairs connected to the garage. The house is almost completely furnished, we might need a dining table or a few other pieces of furniture based on your needs/preferences. There is a one car garage, one of us will have to park on the street but I’ve never had any issues doing so. I’m saving up for a car right now and am bike commuting to work for the next few months at least. If you were willing to grocery shop together sometimes, that would be helpful but isn’t required. I have nearby friends and family who can give me rides if needed.

My name’s Leah, I’m 25 years old, and I’m looking for a new roommate to take over the second bedroom in my duplex sometime in the next couple of months. The old roommate needs some time to get his plan together and pack up before he leaves. I would prefer a female roommate. In general I like to keep things clean, sometimes a mess will get left for a few days but almost never longer than that. I’m pretty quiet, the noisiest things I do are watch TV and host a few friends for book club once a month. If you don’t play video games loudly, that is a huge plus.

I’m a librarian for a living and I have two cats that are my emotional support animals. In order to keep the landlords appeased the ideal roommate would not have any cats or dogs. (My orange tabby’s name is Fish, he can be anxious and takes time to warm up to new people, and my black cat is Phoebe, she is incredibly social and will beg for attention.) I love arts and crafts, baking, binge watching TV, and reading (mostly non fic and horror.) Having things in common to bond over would be nice but is 100% not necessary.
