Single bedroom in a shared 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom townhouse on a quiet one block street right in the middle of the city, and convenient to everything.

This single room in Shaw is the second room available on a flexible 3-6 month lease. Exact rent rate will determined by furnishing preference, move-in date and move-out date. Send me a message with what ideally works for you and we’ll figure out the best stay duration for the lowest rate.

The internet is included at no additional charge. Depending on the stay I’ll probably ask for a modest monthly contribution toward the electric.

Location: The house is conveniently located. Several local restaurants and bars as well as a Giant grocery store and a gym/recreation center at O Street Market are just minutes away. US Capitol building is an 8-minute bike ride and Georgetown University Law Center is a 5-minute bike ride, with protected bike lanes all the way. The Shaw Metro Station is an 8-minute walk. The G2 bus stop and Capital Bikeshare Station is a 2-minute walk.

Bi-monthly cleanings of the home’s shared spaces is included. Secure bicycle storage is available. Smart locks and Smart thermostats. Street parking is abundant, but you do have to move your car for bi-weekly street sweeping.

To be determined… The owner of the house is an early 30’s gay male who is going abroad for a few months and is looking at options to keep an eye on the house. I won’t be around, and the house is in good shape, but I will be responsive to any concerns that come up. Georgetown, GW, and Columbia alumnus.
