About the room
The location is ideal because it’s near the T redline, river roads, and major highways. Boston and the surrounding areas are easily accessible. There is off street parking in a driveway, a deck for lounging, and a yard. There is plenty of free parking on the street for visitors. The house is near bus lines and has a city feel to it as well as a nice neighborhood quality with tree lined streets, sidewalks, and many dog walkers. There is a park nearby as well as walking distance, less than 1/2 mile, to shops, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops etc. The townhouse and surrounding neighbors are creative, artists, teachers, medical, and the like, some working from home. Free laundry available on site.
About the roomies
She/her/they/them are my pronouns. I am the only roommate in this 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom townhouse. I am a registered nurse by profession. When I am not working I take care of my calm, friendly, geriatric cat, practice yoga, and meditate. In the small middle bedroom, I’ve designed a mini oasis complete with plants, art, and Japanese tatami mats for meditation, yoga, reading, and relaxing in the sunlight that streams through the windows during the day. The main floor has a kitchen, eating nook, TV area, and a Victorian seating area for reading in front of the fireplace. The deck has planters available for city gardening and there’s an area blocked off in the yard for planting as well. It is a very therapeutic peaceful environment and I’d enjoy sharing it. The room I am renting is the largest bedroom. It has an ac unit in the window as well as cable hookup capability. The Wi-Fi, electric, gas, water, and sewer utilities are included in the price, which may be negotiable for the right person. There is some storage availability in the basement. There is a kayak available for use and room for a bike with a rack out back. Any gender welcome.
