Marlow's room

Looking for someone to take over a room in a 5-bedroom house which will be shared with 3 other people. The house has its quirks as the landlord is pretty uninvolved, but we try to maintain a clean/peaceful home and the neighborhood is very safe.

Room for rent:

• shared bathroom
• 1 human only
• No pets
• You pay $650/mo + utilities. First + last month payment required for move in.
• 1-year lease

Common areas for everyone to share:

• Kitchen, dining room, outdoor patio, backyard, garage, two living rooms (upstairs and downstairs). Plenty of kitchenware that is also shared.

Neighborhood Amenities:

• 5 minute walk to our neighborhood park which includes a basketball court, tennis court, a playground and a swimming pool all available for use

Location:

• 2 minute drive/11min walk to Safeway [with Safeway Gas Station] (lot has 5+ restaurants)
• 5 minute drive to 405 freeway
• 7 minute drive to Totem Lake Village (Whole foods grocery, Trader Joe’s, Ross and other retail shops, 5+ restaurants & Cinema)
• 8 minute drive to UW Bothell

Utilities and payments:

• Internet and utilities will be shared by all (Sewage, water, electricity, Wi-Fi & trash) and average around $150/person, but can be more or less depending on the month. Expect to pay more in the fall/winter
• Full Washer & Dryer downstairs

Possible Roommate:

• Ideally a student or professional near our age. We are all in our mid-late 20’s and 30’s.
• A mature, professional adult who is interactive, and easy to get along with.
• NO PARTY ANIMALS or funny business!
• Someone who picks up after themselves and shares minimal house work.

We are working professionals and a student with different schedules, but we have a great dynamic and sometimes hang out to watch TV. Though most days we are all just doing our own thing.

We are considerate of one another and respect each other’s privacy and space above all else.
