About the room: Second story room with an across-the-hall-mate (that’s me). Large spacious (open) closet and decent space allowing various options for layout. One window overlooking the courtyard. You’ll have an extra closet in the hallway and your own bathroom, as well. Street parking available on University or York. NO PETS - Must be okay with cats Please, NO SMOKING or drugs in the house NO CHILDREN We share chores that we split once a week and switch off on dual garbage duty!

About the apartment: The location is right off of S University Blvd, just a 3 minute walk to get to the Campus of the University of Denver. The apartment is 2 stories tall with a basement, so there are 3 levels to it. The main living room and kitchen area is obviously a shared space between all 3 total roommates. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, fridge, other general appliances, and disposal drain in the sink. You will have your own shelf in the fridge and your own cabinet for storage. We share dishes and kitchen utilities, as well as, the unloading of the dishwasher. The basement has a washer and dryer, as well as, a small sitting area. This is also where we store most of our extra belongings and where the cat’s litter box is. The area still looks very nice and would be a great place for guests to stay or just to sit and read in a quiet place. Downstairs is also where the water heater is located, which has recently been replaced with a brand new one, so there should not be any issues with the availability of hot water for showers and it heats up quickly. Rent for the bedroom is $907 a month, due on the first of every month. (Our landlord lives out of state so rent shall be paid in whatever fashion you agree upon with Chris.) The internet bill per month is about $70 split between 3 people and it is fiber optic internet which is very fast. There is also a trash fee of $21 a month if split between 3 people which is included in the cost of rent. Trash service picks up once a week on Tuesdays.

The electric bill is currently under my (Melissa) name and the internet is under Ryan’s name. Both are it expected to be paid on time via venmo or cash.

Availability: The room will be an 12 month lease starting July 1st.

My name is, Melissa (33). I am in the second bedroom upstairs. I have a cat named, Simba. He’s a gentle giant but will run if given the chance so it is imperative that all doors leading outside remain closed (or shut rather quickly). During moving day we can lock him in my bedroom! I’m pretty laid back but definitely like a clean shared living space. You’re coming into a household with two people who enjoy singing and music but not to the extent where we’re waking up the neighbors. We are pretty low key, calm people. I am a movie lover and am generally watching something. I also enjoy sitting on our patio in the summer and reading a good dystopian book. I work an 8-5 and generally stay in during the week days. I also haven’t gone out in a while so I’m usually around. I am from Wisconsin and enjoy going to visit them! My roommate who is leaving and I have an agreement going that we trade off taking each other to the airport and picking up.

Ryan (41) is our other roommate who lives in the basement. He might consider taking the upper room so the basement room may be available too! [ [ The basement room has a window that can be opened for airflow, and has a private bathroom attached to the room with a standing shower (w/ bench). There is a long clothes rack that is to help with the fact that the closet in the room is pretty small but overall the room is quite spacious. ] ] Ryan works from home most days but will spend most of his time downstairs. He works for the church sometimes playing guitar.
