About the room
The room upstairs is 90 square feet. It has a built in desk with storage above and to either side of the desk: drawers, cubbies, and wardrobes with bars to hang things from.
The house has a large yard, good parking, and a balcony. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, and an electric range. There’s a washer and dishwasher in a small laundry room by the back door. There are two bathrooms: one upstairs with bath tub and shower, and one downstairs with a shower that has a place to sit inside. The stairs themselves are a spiral staircase. There’s a sliding door in the back, a tool shed, a wood shed, a former chicken coop roughly transformed into a greenhouse, a back patio with a standing metal fire pit. In the front is a car port in the front that unfortunately needs repairs. There’s still a good amount of parking in the driveway and in front of the house, though.
There’s two living room spaces; we call one of them a den to differentiate them. The one nearest the kitchen, which we call the living room, has a wood stove and a nice hardwood floor and a ceiling fan. The den has a large CRT television, a futon, and is largely used for storage. The house is a bit messy but safe and comfortable.
About the roomies
I’m a 36 year old lesbian. I live with my mom and my 9 year old son, and our two cats. I work as a deli clerk in a grocery store, working part time due to my health. After work I have more limited mobility while my feet recover. My mom is a retired nurse. None of us smoke.
My mom lives upstairs in the master bedroom and my son and I live in the two downstairs bedrooms.
