About the room
Do you want to live in a vibrant walkable neighborhood, near the coast so it doesnβt get too hot? Grocery stores, restaurants, bars, gym, etc. are all within a 5 to 15 minute WALK of the house. And a much shorter bicycle ride. Nice housemates in late 20s (male and a female) who live upstairs. This listing is for one of the two downstairs bedrooms. Potential to share bathroom with one other person if we get another roommate for the other bedroom.
We have high-speed fiber Wi-Fi, all appliances are all modern and only a couple of years old including the on-site washer and dryer. Nice shared kitchen with plenty of cooking/baking supplies you are welcome to use. A proper dining room and a big living room with a 4k TV that is usually open for use, so you are more than welcome to make it your chill spot!
Close and easy access to the 5, 805, and 54 freeways. Street parking is virtually always open in front of the house. The only day this past year where it was a bit harder was the annual Downtown Chula Vista Christmas Parade. In that case, you can park on the front lawn.
Large backyard with two dogs that mostly stay outside. We have a very nice cat but you can easily close off your room and bathroom area so the cat canβt access.
PLEASE READ -6 MONTHS to ONE YEAR TERM LEASE -LIVING AREA IS FULLY FURNISHED -NO SUBLEASING -MUST PAY SHARED BILLS ON TIME. The shared utilities are energy, fiber internet, water, sewage, and trash. With 3 housemates the average monthly bill for all utilities is ~$124. If we get a 4th housemate, it would be ~$93. Of course, these prices depend on how much the utilities are used. -SECURITY DEPOSIT is $500 -Room comes with a bed and a piece of furniture (pictured) that you are welcome to use for storage. These pieces must stay in the room, the bed can only be removed in special circumstances.
