Carolyn's room

Subletting my bedroom from May 15-July 31 2024 (my lease end) in East Williamsburg, off the Graham Ave L train. Rent is $900 + 1/4 of apartment utilities (usually about $75/mo, including heat, wifi, electric + gas).

The room can come partially furnished if you’d like (bedside table, clothing rack, small light). It’s on the lower level of a two-story apartment, with a communal kitchen, living room, outdoor space (shared with other ground floor apartments) and nearby park. You’ll share the downstairs half-bathroom with one other person and the upstairs full bathroom with two other roommates. The room has a window but it looks into the hallway, not the outside, so rent is $250/mo lower than other rooms.

Roommates are 3 mid-20s women quasi-professionals, and I am a working student. Any gender identity welcome, lgbtq+ welcome. House rules are no shoes and to replace communal items as needed, but I have purchased my share in bulk for most items so you won’t need to (dish soap, dish sponges, hand soap, all purpose cleaner, etc, etc). You should also tell other roommates when you plan to have guests and clean up after them.

You can renew with other roommates in August; they have not decided if they’ll go or stay but management is pretty chill about transition between leases.
