About the room
Hi! We are two friends looking for a new roommate to take up a room in our 3 bedroom apartment located in the Mid City Area. This second story (top floor) apartment features a balcony with a great view of our corner of the city. The room in question is approximately 140 square feet ( 13“ x 11“ ) with build-in storage/closet space. You’ll of course also have constant access to the living room, kitchen and balcony areas. The kitchen area contains granite countertops and soft closing cabinets. The living room space provides tons of natural lighting due to its large windows and at night all windows can open to enjoy the cool desert breeze. The bathroom (shared with one roomie) has a walk-in shower, dual sink unit, soft closing cabinets and sits right across from the room available. The apartment is pet-friendly- however, this may incur an additional monthly pet fee. Some information regarding some convenient locations close by: very close to Kaiser Permanente Medical Complex with immediate access to the I-10 ( Santa Monica Freeway). This very walkable area features a Smart and Final Grocery Store, Target, CVS Pharmacy, and several places to eat less than two blocks away. This spot is 20-25 minutes from Santa Monica, 20-25 minutes from Downtown LA area and 25 minutes to Hollywood. Just a 15-minute walk to the Jefferson/La Cienega metro station.
About the roomies
We are two semi-nocturnal WFH gamers, but I promise that’s not what it sounds like! We’re very sociable, happy people just looking for someone nice and considerate who will be respectful of us and this space. This is a queer-friendly, immigrant friendly, progressive household. One of us is a male, mid 30s, and the other is male-ish (Non-binary AMAB) early 30s. We’re 4/20 friendly as long as you smoke on the balcony. We are also open to pets as long as they aren’t disruptive to us/ our stuff. We are usually active through the late night/early morning, so early risers and light sleepers beware!
There are 5 other units in this building, all inhabited by nice people. There are a lot of families in the surrounding houses and apartments so there is a sense of actually living in a community.
