The house is 1,900 sq ft single family home with 4 bedrooms (1 master, 1 office/guest room, and 2 individual bedrooms. This listing is for a 120 sq ft individual bedroom, which has a large window area, sliding door closet, and shared bathroom. The house includes central air and heating, a small enclosed backyard, all kitchen appliances including a dishwasher and extra refrigerator, in unit washer and dryer, and garage (too small for parking, but great extra storage). Water, gas, electricity, and internet will be spilt evenly and be about $100 per person (trash and HOA fees covered by landlord).
This is a quiet neighborhood with many young families and working professionals in West Park. For parking and cars, the house has two parking spots and there is also plenty of nearby street parking. It’s next to Crossroads Markets and has easy access to the 5 and 405. The community also includes access to tennis courts, two pool and hot tub areas, and many parks with outdoor grills.
We are 2 mid 20’s young engineers in biotech (male and female) who are respectful of others boundaries, keep an early schedule, and like to host friends at the house occasionally. We’re big board game loves with quite a collection that anyone is welcome to tap into. We’re also regular (but not skilled) tennis players, amateur pottery-ers?, and movie buffs. Our biggest struggle is being clean but not neat. Big on cleanliness, especially in the kitchen, but will struggle to remove a pile of mail.
Note for the allergy stricken and pet opposed: we own three cats who are very friendly and love attention. We don’t ask anything from roommates when it comes to cat care, but if you are a cat lover, you’re welcome to treat and play with them as you please.
We are looking for a young working professional who is preferably also on an earlier schedule and openly communicates about needs and preferences regarding housing. And, of course, cat lover is a plus.
