Irving Street Northeast

I’m looking to fill one room in a huge 2BR1BA partially furnished basement apartment. The living room and dining room are already furnished so the bedroom would be your place to furnish in your own way. The bedroom is available w/ a shared bathroom in this large, 2000 sq. ft. apartment in the Brookland neighborhood in a separate basement in NE. There is good closet space, two small patios, central AC, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Internet, etc. Utilities and Xfinity internet are approximately $400 per month, which we’d split 2 ways.

The basement apartment is located on 1023 Irving St NE which is about a 10-minute walk from the Brookland-CUA metro station. Many amenities such as a CVS, local restaurants and bars, gas station, and grocery stores are all within walking distance of the place making it an ideal location to stay.

I am going to be the other roommate and I am looking for one or two other potential roommates to move in with me by June 1. I am a 23 year old professional who works in politics (like half of this city to be honest), and I would love to share the basement apartment with somebody close in age.

A little about me is that I have lived in DC since 2019, and I recently graduated from Catholic University, and I am hoping to stay in the city for the foreseeable future. I am a little bit of a homebody, but I do enjoy watching movies, exercising, reading, and trying new recipes. When I do go out, I enjoy trying to find new places to try and new people to meet. There are a lot of things to do and find in the city, and I make a good effort in trying to do as many as possible within my budget.

I’d love to find tidy young professionals who share similar values and also enjoy good social interaction! In the past, I’ve lived with a variety of people and I established a great dynamic very quickly. Ideally, I’d also love to have roommates be of similar age — from early to mid 20’s.
