Tamarack Drive

I’m looking to rent the second bedroom in my apartment for $600 a month and rent would include all utilities and internet - if you’re a gamer too we can run a hardline to your bedroom. I’d expect us both to contribute to maintaining basic household needs like toilet paper, dish soap etc. I’m open to short and long-term arrangements (3-12mos) and the rental timeframe can be flexible. I just require that you give one months notice prior to moving out.

There aren't washer/dryer hook-ups in the unit but there is a laundry facility avaliable on the first floor of the building. The roommate would have full access to the livingroom, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Cabinet and refrigerator/freezer space would be made available for storing personal food and cookware and all of my cookware/dishes would be available for communal use. There is a closet in the hallway for bathroom/hygeine/linen storage. Shelves would be made available there as well as cabinet space under the bathroom sink, for use as needed.

I’m a single dad of a two year old boy so I need a roommate who’s lifestyle is appropriate for a child. Mom and I share custody so he will be with me for part of each week and stays with me in the master bedroom. I also have two cats.

I’m very laid back and keep to myself for the most part but I’m pretty open minded regarding a potential roommate. I’m open to another single parent of a young child (so long as sharing a bedroom is reasonable for them), LGBTQ 100% are welcome and I have no preference regarding gender/race, so long as you’re respectful, reliable and contribute to keeping the apartment reasonably clean.

I don't mind things like having guests over or drinking so long as they are done within reason and responsibly but would want a heads up if you're going to have company. I don't mind if you smoke/vape and I am 420 friendly. No smoking is allowed in the apartment but I have a balcony I intend to clean off and set up for such things. Vaping is ok inside so long as it isn't in the same room as my son. My son's mom is still in the process of moving out so I can't take any pictures yet but will take and add pictures of the bedroom and living spaces later this week.
