Kendra's room

I’m renting out the private bedroom of my one bedroom apartment. The room is spacious with a large closet and tons of natural light - I can provide some furnishings if needed! Shared bathroom, kitchen, and common space - all furnished. Older, quirky building in downtown Olympia (Franklin St/Union Ave) with secure access, outdoor courtyard + small garden, and TONS of windows! Unfortunately, there’s no dishwasher in unit and we share 2 coin-operated laundry machines in the building. Month-to-month agreement. Reserved parking spot available for no extra cost. W,S,G included in rent amount - cost of PSE + wifi will be evenly split (usually around $85 per person). Great location - walking distance to Capitol Lake, library, grocery stores, transit center and just a couple minutes from freeway entrances. Because the apartment is on the third (top) floor and our elevator is frequently out of order - I would not recommend this arrangement for those with stair limitations. Please no pets or smoking in apartment. I prefer to maintain a sober home but flexible with communication <3

Hii, I’m Kendra (she/they). I’m a 22 year old, queer, neurospicy plant parent and activist. I work as a baker at a vegan cafe downtown and love to spend my time exploring outdoors, advocating for social change, volunteering, practicing herbalism, writing, thrifting, concert-going, and dancing! I incorporate sustainable and low-tox practices at home - composting, washable paper towels, homemade products, lots of reducing and reusing. I host occasional game nights and tea parties but it’s usually a pretty quiet home. I leave for work before 6am most days and spend a lot of my weekends on mini roadtrips / day hikes.
