Hello everyone! My friend and I have two rooms in our home available for rent. We are both gay men, one in their 30s and one in their 40s. We both have white-collar jobs. One person works from home and the other works hybrid for the city. We have two trained and well-behaved, friendly dogs. We are respectful people who like to hang out, are pretty low-key, and relax at home. We aren’t very loud and we keep things clean. Our artwork is pretty unique, but we promise that our home isn’t like a swingers club or something lol. We’re pretty normal folks. And yes, the drawing above the fireplace is my doggie and the anime panels and figures are from the Dragon Ball anime.
Room 1 Details: Rent is $1000 per month Water, gas, and high-speed internet are included in the rent price. Half of the electricity bill will be your responsibility. It is approximately $100-$200 total per month. This bill will be split between you and one other tenant, which comes out to $50-$100 per person. Fully furnished: Queen-size bed Desk TV monitor Entertainment system/stand for monitor Closet space Shared bathroom with one other tenant The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub! The Neighborhood: We live across the street from an elementary school. It is a quiet and safe neighborhood, the neighbors are friendly and respectful. Our home is located in the Petworth neighborhood of NW DC.
Who We Are Looking For A roommate who is kind, considerate, courteous, and respectful towards others. Gender, age, sexual orientation, etc., do not matter to us. We are open to folks having pets and welcome any artwork you would like to add to the space! We are looking for someone who can reliably pay their share of rent and utilities on time every month. We are looking for long-term tenants who plan to stay for at least a year. To pass the screening for the landlord’s application, you need to have a credit score of at least 650 (or have a co-signer) and have proof of income.
