We are looking to fill one bedroom in our house -available for move in now (as of 4/22/24)! The house is located ½ mile from the beach, west of the 5 freeway, about a mile south of Carlsbad Village with super easy access to the freeway. Rent can be prorated based on move in date. The open room is approximately 10’x10’ with one 5’x2’ closet and a shared bathroom with 2 other roommates (photos of the available room are posted here). The room is pictured with furniture but will be unfurnished. The rent for the available room is $1,200/month due on the 1st of every month and the deposit is also $1,200 each - landlord sets the price so I can’t negotiate with you. The lease is month to month but landlord doesn’t want short term renters. We already have a dog living here so the landlord will not allow anymore pets - sorry. Landlord pays for water/trash/sewer – we split SDGE and Internet (roughly $60/month per person)
A little bit about the house: 4 bedroom, 2 bath house with a fenced front and backyard. We have a 2 car garage with some built-in shelving for extra storage, but we don’t park cars in the garage. Driveway fits 3 cars (first come first serve) and there is plenty of street parking right out front. Washer/Dryer and 2nd fridge in the garage.
Who we are looking for: Someone in their 20’s or 30’s who cleans up after themselves Financially Stable – landlord will require proof of income Someone who works normal working hours if outside of the home (working from home is ok) No ‘bring the party home’ types General quiet hours are 10pm-6am – this is important to us. No couples – single occupant only. Occasional guests are cool with us. Preferably someone who doesn’t smoke or does so outside, far enough from the house.
31 year old female, works as a QA Manager at commercial bakery, 28 year old male, works as a Training Specialist in tech, 24 year old female, dental assistant. We are all working professionals – clean, considerate, quiet and respectful. We will ask the same of the new roommate.
