Bedroom available April 1st in duplex apartment in Bed-Stuy - closest subway - Ralph Avenue C Train.
Rent - $1229+ Utilities - Taking over lease from current tenants who need to move for medical reasons. 6 months remaining, option to join new lease for Oct 1 renewal.
Room: Approx 255 sq. Ft. - plenty of room for a queen sized bed, desk, couch/tv area. In rear of the building, basement level. Bathroom (with bidet toilet seat), kitchen (new stove/oven installed 9/23), and living room are on ground floor. Access to back yard.
Subway is about 5 min walk away. Laundry, post office, pharmacy, groceries are all within 10-15 minute walk away.
About the roomies
Current roommates: David, Cis, white, gay male; Austin African American, Queer - both low-key, generally keep to ourselves in our rooms but will hang out and have dinner etc. Clean but not overly fussy. Austin works in retail so schedule is flexible. David works for a consulting firm and has a hybrid schedule of 2 days in office and 3 days at home.
Must love dogs and be comfortable with larger dogs. Our two dogs are Jasper, the Dachshund, and Slayer the Coon Hound. Slayer can take a little time to warm up to new people but is fine with people who are comfortable with larger dogs.
Preferably looking for gay/queer/LGBTQ+ Ally to taking over remaing 6 months of current lease. Will have to meet with the landlords before being approved. Prefer single but have been ok with a couple in the past.
