Note: This is a home in a Senior Park. You must be 50 years or older to apply. I am a retired dog trainer and live with my little dog (15 lb rescue) in a modern manufactured home 55 years senior community. There are three bedrooms (one is actually an office we could share). Your bedroom is furnished with a queen sleep number bed, bedside shelving/night stand combo, a dresser (antique Japanese Tansu) and a generous closet space. Your bathroom is diagonally across the hall from your room (shower in tub). I am home all the time and would like to have a roommate that works at least part-time if possible. We would share the kitchen, living room, my exercise area, a large garden backyard, front porch seating, and the washer & dryer. Included would be wi-fi, water, electric, and a house cleaning service at least once per month but currently every 2 weeks. I currently only stream TV programs but would consider cable TV if you really want it. Our community has a pool and hot tub for residents that’s seasonal and opens again after Memorial Day in May.

I am an x-NYer; very politically progressive; non-religious; non-smoking; non-drinking; and a sci-fi loving person. I can appreciate people who occasionally drinking wine just not every day and not to the point of boisterous behavior. I will often seek to be by myself rather than socialize though. I have had many roommates before but not since 2010. My brother lives near by with his partner and they stop by fairly regularly to say hi. We go out to lunch/brunch together 2 times per week. My dog Pete is shy and quiet. He would not be your responsibility at all. He eats & sleeps in my bedroom and barely sheds. He and I share a loveseat in the living room where there are two additional recliners for you to use if you want to watch TV with us. We would share tandem parking in my covered driveway. If you are bringing your own bedroom furniture I would have to increase the monthly rent to cover a storage space for my things.
