Jay's room

Looking for a roomate for a 2BD 2 Bath 2nd floor apartment in West Tampa to preferably someone near my age between 24-30, and with a stable income and preferably we can be friends to make the arrangement smoother. My current roommate is moving up north at the end of the lease so this can be for a year lease at the least but can be longer. You must apply (99 apartment fee) and be able to provide verifiable income. The room can be available as early as mid April or May, or even June if the situation is correct. Internet is 50 a month and it’s fast. Must be okay with cats as I have two shy cats that mainly stay in my room so no other pets unfortunately, 420 friendly (i smoke from time to time).

About the room/apartment: The apartment is on the second floor, with one neighbor below us, and no one above. It is conveniently 1 minute away from the pool/hot tub and 2 story fitness gym. The apartment isn’t fully furnished, but it does have a couch so if you’d want to bring any furniture, let me know in advance. There is an in unit washer and dryer as well. The room for rent isn’t furnished at all, so you’d need the essentials. Within your room you’ll get a walk in closet, and your own bathroom/shower (outside of room). I don’t have pictures of the room given that my roommate is still occupying it but I can show it in person if needed.

About the apartment complex: The apartment name is Cortland Bayport and is located near Town ‘n Country. It’s 10 minutes west from the Tampa Airport and 30 minutes away from Clearwater/St Pete. Cortland Bayport is a quiet and large apartment complex that facilitates a lot of land for walking, kayaking into the Bay, biking and other outdoor activities. Amenities included with rent are a tennis court, 2 large swimming pools and a hot tub open all year round, two gyms available (i use one and it’s two stories and good enough for me to skip a gym membership), and a kayak spot. I have been living here for a year and a half and all of our neighbors are respectful and quiet.

I am a 27 year old IT professional that enjoys going out to music shows around the area, music festivals, hitting bars, and hitting the gym and stuff. I am currently working from home with a schedule of M-F 7 AM to 4 PM, so I’d prefer someone who is either aligned with a morning schedule or respectful of sound during the weekday, and does not mind my work from home current situation. I am a very easy going person, and respectful of privacy as well.
